Title: All In One Tanks
Post by: SnappaGuy on December 31, 2018, 05:30:15 am
Howdy Everyone,

What is the general consensus on these tanks with filters, lights and other features built in?

I'm inclined to believe they do fill a niche but your limited in options if you have specific requirements.

I have bought a lot of my tanks second hand off gumtree and I have bought some of those Aqua One type with the filter and stuff up the top of the tank. First thing I do is rip all that shit out and put a sponge filter in! They're probably ok if you put a sponge over the intake, I'm just not a fan.

Probably a great style of tank to start out with but they are kinda fixed, so if you wish to customize after you work out the direction your going, then you will have to chuck a bit of stuff out I guess.

No problemo if your just after a pretty display tank for a few fishes.  ;D

Nice easy setup if you have no specific requirements, thumbs up from me.
